Las Vegas - NAB 2010(14 Apr 2010)

Coincident TV (CTV), creators of the CTV hypervideo software suite that combines online video, social media, weblinks and commerce in one immersive experience, has officially launched in private beta. CTV has extended the private beta program to a limited number of users who will have exclusive access to the software suite which features authoring, viewing and measurement tools that singlehandedly provide solutions to many of the greatest challenges to the online video model, including seamless content integration, personalization and monetization.

"Coincident TV dramatically enhances the video experience for both consumers and content creators through hypervideo," says David Kaiser, CTV CEO. "It's a holistic media experience - a mixture of video, Web and social content within one video player. We're excited to launch our software solution in private beta and will soon announce key partnerships that showcase Coincident TV's transformative, interactive offerings."

CTV co-founders David Kaiser and Bruce Schwartz, along with an experienced executive team, have each pioneered products that have changed the way audiences consume media at esteemed companies including Macromedia, Adobe, Apple, Endemol, Viacom and Openwave. They now bring their innovation to the burgeoning online and digital video segment in private beta, providing a dynamic viewing experience for consumers and a practical monetization model to content creators.

CTV will deliver new experiences for the following audiences:

• Viewers: CTV's hypervideo delivers an enhanced Web video experience that turns a 45 minute show into 90 minutes of engagement through personalized interactivity, whether navigating additional content, chatting with friends or performing online merchandise transactions, all without leaving the video player.

• Content creators: CTV gives content creators freedom to seamlessly design, manage and measure hypervideo experiences with high-quality video content while enhancing navigation through creative hot-spotting, overlaying, picture-in-picture, split screen, social media integration and other methods of engagement within the video player.

• Media companies: CTV provides a cost-effective software suite that quickly and intuitively allows content producers to create revenue-building solutions such as new advertising platforms, subscription TV models, increased brand integration and e-commerce while offering audiences dynamic engagement with characters, brands and stories.
