Eventstream Announces a New Platform That Instantly Turns Your Live Streaming Service Into a Secure Webcasting Platform

Product will also offer payperview live streams through Eventbrite integration.

Toronto, ON(30 Sep 2015)

Founded in 2011, Eventstream, which specializes in webcasting and live streaming, today announced that they are unveiling their newest product, set to improve upon existing live streaming services by transforming them into secure webcasting platforms.

Eventstream, the company’s selftitled software, instantly converts a live streaming platform (such as YouTube, UStream or Livestream) into a webcasting platform by adding a layer of security and a Q&A. Users will now be able to capture data about their viewers and ask private questions within the platform.

"After providing streaming and webcasting services to client for the past four years, we wished we had a platform like Eventstream to convert our public live streams into private webcasts,” explained Michael Dawson, President and Founder of Eventstream. “After finding nothing like it on the market, we decided to build it for ourselves. We believe Eventstream fills the gap for producers who already have a live streaming account, but want the security, and interactivity of a webcasting platform."

Traditionally, AV and live streaming companies could spend thousands of dollars on pricey webcasting software, while their live streaming accounts sat unused. With Eventstream, these companies can save big, while keeping the robustness and scalability of the existing live streaming software currently available. “We believe that our platform will now make it affordable for anyone using a live streaming service to host a secure and interactive webcast without the cost of an enterprise webcasting platform.”

Dawson and his team are also thrilled to announce that Eventstream is the first ever webcast platform to integrate with Eventbrite. This integration will make it easier than ever to register attendees and offer payperview of live streams.

In addition to their selftitled webcasting platform, Eventstream is also announcing two additional products today (Kastioand LiveTouch)as well as a bonus app, that will allow Periscope users to embed their livestream on the website of their choice via Eventstream’s embed tool. page1image19440
