West Palm Beach, FL(19 Aug 2021)

Fuse has selected Float Left to develop two new OTT platforms for Fuse TV: iOS and Android Mobile.  Previously, Float Left developed and launched the Fuse TV web application, and connected TV platforms Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV in collaboration with JW Player.

In addition to the new platforms, Float Left will add FAST channels (Free Ad-Supported TV) and a subscription (SVOD) component to the new and existing Fuse TV apps. FAST channels are linear and free of charge with dynamically inserted ads, very similar to traditional television.

The current apps are available through TV-Everywhere, meaning viewers can sign-in with their TV provider credentials to watch full seasons and series. The addition of SVOD will open the door to the 50+ million U.S. households without cable for full, ad-free, access to Fuse’s on demand content.

"We’re excited to partner with Fuse as they take this next step to expand their OTT service with two new platforms, FAST channels, and a subscription component. In this increasingly-competitive industry, these new additions will help expand Fuse’s user-base and provide more viewing options for Fuse’s loyal fans." - Nick Febrizio, Float Left VP of Sales
