New 80-Plus Channel Tier “Fubo Extra” to Include Base Package “Fubo” & More

FuboTV, the leading sports-first streaming TV service, is now offering a new option for subscribers who want more of the best sports, entertainment and news.  “Fubo Extra,” a new, 80-plus channel bundle, is now available for $49.99 per month, following a free, seven-day trial and current promotional offer of $19.99 for the first month.  It includes every channel and feature that is part of the $44.99 per month “Fubo” base package (formerly “Fubo Premier”) and more. 

Now part of Fubo Extra are BabyTV, BBC World News, Cooking Channel, DIY Network, Game Show Network, INSP, PeopleTV, REVOLT, Sony Movie Channel, Stadium, XITExROCK and XITExVIBE.  Additionally, as of today, music channel XITE is now part of the Fubo base package. 

With today’s launches, FuboTV becomes the first pay TV provider in the U.S. to offer PeopleTV and XITE as 24/7 linear channels, the first over-the-top (OTT) service to include INSP, and among the first platforms to offer Stadium’s 24/7 linear network.

FuboTV offers a growing number of local TV stations, regional sports networks and national channels – with more that carry sports in its base package than any competitor – along with the most popular entertainment and news programming.  This includes more than 30,000 sporting events per year, 10,000-plus TV shows and movies available on video-on-demand (VOD) each month, and live and VOD access to the most popular networks and hit shows on television.  

With no long-term contracts or set-top-boxes required, “Fubo” and “Fubo Extra” both include personal cloud DVR and two simultaneous streams, with options to upgrade both.  Both are available on desktop, mobile phones, tablets and TV connected devices including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast and Roku.  

Subscribers to “Fubo Extra” will receive streaming access to every channel that is part of the base “Fubo” plan, as well as these additions:

Programming in May includes a week of military movies in honor of the troops, each night at 8 p.m. ET starting May 20, with a two-day marathon ending on Memorial Day.
