Grass Valley and Anvato Team to Simplify Video Publishing for Every Screen
GV STRATUS and Anvato product integration gives content creators fastest, most efficient path for video editing and distribution for TV Everywhere
Las Vegas--NAB 2015(14 Apr 2015)
Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, and
Anvato, the complete
TV Everywhere platform provider, today announced collaboration on product integration that can bridge and dramatically enhance broadcast and digital workflows. The integration between the
GV STRATUS video production and content management system and
Anvato’s Media Content Platform (MCP) allows content creators and broadcasters to edit and publish perishable, time-sensitive video content to their apps, websites and social network destinations—and do so faster than other solutions available in the industry.
Together, GV STRATUS and Anvato MCP give content creators the fastest, most efficient path to every screen with their valuable video, with all relevant metadata included. Time-to-screen is critical for news and sports workflows, especially in today’s environment where publishers cannot afford to give digital and social syndication secondary priority in the workflow.
Leveraging Anvato’s work as a launch partner and early adopter for Facebook’s new video API, broadcasters can seamlessly publish video content to Facebook with impressive speed, reaching one of the largest global online audiences. Anvato MCP also enables GV STRATUS customers to deliver edited video content to other destinations including Twitter and YouTube, taking advantage of Anvato’s social publishing strategy that embeds video directly in the target audience’s feed via Twitter Cards. This, in combination with GV STRATUS’ unique capabilities to enable pre-planning, editing and frame-accurate segmentation of content faster than any other broadcast production system, gives the Grass Valley/Anvato combination powerful capabilities unique to the market, allowing broadcasters to deliver digital media with the fastest, most efficient path to every screen.
“From the high-speed car chase to the game winning three-point shot in a basketball game, compelling live content is king. This partnership and product integration between GV STRATUS and Anvato MCP dramatically accelerates content publishing times for our customers and empowers them to reach every screen within seconds, getting HD video clips in the viewer’s hand faster than ever before,” said Mike Cronk, senior vice president of strategic marketing, Grass Valley.
“Our disruptive, market leading TV Everywhere platform has been extremely well received in the space for some time now,” said Alper Turgut, CEO at Anvato. “The collaboration with Grass Valley provides a bridge from broadcast to broadband, opening up paradigm-shifting options for broadcasters and content creators everywhere. Now, they can leverage the powerful digital platform from Anvato with all of our TV Everywhere functionality to complement their best-of-breed GV STRATUS workflows.”
