Groovy Gecko To Demonstrate Flash LPS at Streaming Media Europe

Groovy Gecko announces new Flash-based Live Presentation System, which it will be demonstrating at Streaming Media Europe.

London(12 Oct 2010)

Groovy Gecko today announced that it will be demonstrating its new Flash-based Live Presentation System (LPS) at Streaming Media Europe this month.

By listening to clients' changing requirements and responding to changing market conditions, the LPs, which has been 10 years in the making, continues to evolve, maintaining its reputation as the best of its class. The latest version of the LPS allows :-

  • - the display of synchronized PowerPoint Slides as flash animations, preserving animations and transitions. This gives the webcast a more natural and attractive look and feel.
  • - Updated workflow and marketing integration for registration and event reminders.
  • - Updated Live QandA and polling moderation.
  • - Provision of very detailed stats for each user and for each touch point of the webcast.

Craig Moehl, CEO, Groovy Gecko commented: "We are proud of our flagship product and believe in investing in our systems to further enrich the user experience. We have seen the enhancements providing increased ROI, by not only ensuring more people attend the live webcasts, but also providing vital stats and feedback for future events."."

This year, Groovy Gecko will build a scaled-down studio with chromakey / green screen on their stand to demonstrate its production capabilities in its recently launched webcast studio. The central London studio has been specifically designed and built for webcasting and is able to handle anything from a single camera shoot to a multi-camera, fully managed live webcast.

Craig Moehl, CEO, Groovy Gecko will also be speaking at the event on Thursday 14th October at 11:45. He is part of a panel, being moderated by Streaming Media Magazine Editor, Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen, entitled "Creating Participants, Not Just Viewers".
