Influxis Launches P2P Hosting

Influxis Offers Adobe ® Flash® Media Enterprise Server 4 Hosting Providing Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Technology for Ultra Low Latency, Distributed Streaming, and Reduced Bandwidth Costs.

Santa Clarita, CA(07 Dec 2010)

Influxis, a specialist in interactive streaming services, today launched a new hosting service for the Adobe® Flash® Media Enterprise Server 4 software. The service provides a deployment and support platform to help companies easily benefit from the bandwidth-cost savings and high capacity scaling made possible with Real Time Media Flow Protocol (RTMFP) Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology.

The Influxis service gives people access to the new technology along with deployment and development support. In addition, global network options exist to further reduce server load, latency, and bandwidth associated with streaming and collaboration.

The operational cost savings are achieved through the P2P capabilities of RTMFP. Influxis customers who use Adobe Flash Media Enterprise Server 4 are able to substitute streaming from the traditional server-to-client transmission to instead conduct a client-to-client, or peer-to-peer, transmission.

Influxis' new Adobe Flash Media Enterprise Server 4 hosting solutions are for companies requiring hands-on support and a SLA (service level agreement), and want to deploy large-scale live streaming events (such as press conferences, sports, news, product demos), simulcast streaming, low latency gaming and collaboration, and massively scalable interactive social media applications.

"With our new FMES 4 hosting service, we provide an affordable way for companies to utilize the full capabilities of the software, including most importantly, the ability to deploy production peer-to-peer applications" said Influxis CEO Richard Blakely. "I am extremely excited about the possibilities here. Using any Flash client as a peer provides a new level of connectivity we have not seen before, making for very interesting possibilities for the future of application development."

Influxis is offering a limited time 2010 December-only holiday promotion for early adopters with both annual and monthly pricing options available. Details can be found here: http://www.influxis.com/index.php/pricing/enterprise/
