The UK’s largest event for the broadcast media, production and technology industry has unveiled its first set of sessions and speakers, which will form its most comprehensive programme to date, with more than 350 speakers taking to the stage across eight theatres.
Taking place on 14-15 May 2025 in the iconic Grand Hall at Olympia, London, the show will feature over 100+ hours of exclusive content, including keynote presentations, masterclasses, panel discussions and educational sessions.
The seminar programme with confirmed speakers to date is available at https://www.mediaproductionshow.com/programme.
This year there is a special focus on disruptive and interactive technologies, including the huge impact of AI and GenAI, with the return of the hugely popular AI Theatre, which will now take place within the new AI Media Zone, and the Media Technology Conference, which is produced in partnership with SMPTE UK. The Broadcast Technology theatre will also have a jam-packed schedule of content, kicking off with its annual State of the Nation panel, where the speakers will discuss the latest advancements in transmission methods, evolving standards, the integration of AI in content creation, as well as the impact on cloud technology on broadcasting.
The Post Production, Production, AI, Audio and Virtual Production theatres will also start with State of the Nation panels, as leaders from across their respective industry sectors delve into the current trends and innovations that are having the biggest impact.
New for 2025 is the Broadcast Sport Series, which will see dedicated broadcast sport sessions taking place throughout the theatres.
The Keynote Theatre will present a host of industry leaders who will share their successes and visions for the future. One of the highlight sessions this year sees the creative team behind Strictly Come Dancing sharing how they work together to deliver a seamless on-screen experience every week. Acclaimed actor Ross Kemp will also be taking to the keynote stage to share his insights into his transition from acting to investigative journalism. There will also be a panel discussion on how to break down barriers to improve access and opportunities in the industry for underrepresented groups, featuring speakers from MAMA Youth Project, the National Film and Television School and the Royal Television Society.
The programme will be updated over the coming weeks as more content is confirmed.
