Media Alert: Mediasite by Sonic Foundry to Live Stream Dalai Lama’s Sold-Out Teaching Event Tuesday in Madison, Wis.
Event will be broadcast live to 10,000 viewers globally

Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the trusted global leader for video creation and management solutions, today announced its Mediasite Events team will live stream His Holiness the Dalai Lama as he shares teachings and wisdom to the Madison, Wis. community Tuesday during a special event at the Madison Masonic Center.
Hosted by the Wisconsin Tibetan Association, the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists, will give a teaching on Geshe Langri Tangpa’s Eight Verses of Mind Training, a text that offers practices for cultivating the awakening mind of compassion, wisdom and love.
One-thousand people will attend the sold-out event, and due to the high demand, it will be live streamed all over the world via Mediasite. The first 10,000 viewers will be able to watch live. The webcast will also be available on-demand.
