My Damn Channel Signs Daily Grace to Multi-Year Talent Deal
YouTube Star to Host 10-Minute Interactive Comedy Series, My Damn Channel LIVE, Every Thursday at 4 p.m. ET Beginning Today

Entertainment studio and distributor of premium content My Damn Channel today announced a new, multi-year talent deal with one of its top Internet personalities, Grace Helbig, creator and star of the long-running hit My Damn Channel series, Daily Grace. Starting today, Grace will be the Thursday host of the recently announced live, daily comedy series My Damn Channel LIVE. The new series, part of YouTube’s original channels initiative, is streamed live each weekday at 4 p.m. ET atYouTube.com/MyDamnChannel and on www.MyDamnChannel.com/LIVE.
In addition to creating new episodes of Daily Grace for years to come, for the first time ever, fans of Daily Grace and My Damn Channel will be able to enjoy real-time shenanigans with Grace during her weekly 10-minute episodes. Viewers can watch the series - which will include audience interaction by all technological means necessary - as it happens, or catch up on past episodes on demand.

Grace joined My Damn Channel in 2008 when she was first cast as narrator of the comedy series, Bedtime Stories, written and created by Steve Kerper. Company Founder/CEO Rob Barnett discovered Grace's personal video blogs and hired her as the first official host of My Damn Channel in April, 2008 when the first episode of Daily Grace premiered giving viewers an inside look at the life of a 20-something who would quickly become one of the brightest stars on the Internet. Since the series' inception, Grace hascreated over 2,000 videos.
In recent months, Grace’s career has continued to build significant momentum with highlights including being named to TIMEmagazine’s list of the “140 best Twitter feeds of 2012;” an appearance in a Google Chrome commercial that aired after the Super Bowl; and the creation of a “Sexy Friday” music video with viral sensation Rebecca Black after Rebecca revealed in an interview that Grace was one of her favorite people on YouTube. Most recently, Grace hosted the second annual SUBWAY FRESH ARTISTS FILMMAKERS screening at the IFC Crossroads House at SXSW.
Grace is also a correspondent for G4's Attack of the Show and can be seen in one of the commercials produced in a challenge onCelebrity Apprentice, currently airing on NBC, and in new prank game show Money from Strangers, premiering April 30 on MTV. Grace has had roles on Comedy Central's Michael & Michael Have Issues and recently completed a feature role in the web series My Music Show, created and produced by The Fine Bros. for their new YouTube original channel. Additionally, Grace and her friend and former roommate Michelle Vargas create vlogs together for their YouTube channel, GraceNMichelle. She also performs regularly as part of the group “Borealis” at the Peoples Improv Theater in New York.
