NAB 2018: TVU Networks Introduces Powerful Cloud-Based Live, Multi-Camera Production Solution

TVU Producer Pro Uses Advanced Technology to Enable Simple Web Based Production For Today’s Social Media and Web Streaming Platforms

Mounta View, CA, USA(28 Mar 2018)

At the NAB ShowTVU Networks, the global technology and innovation leader in live IP video solutions, will introduce TVU Producer Pro, a powerful new cloud-based video production solution. TVU Producer Pro is the latest addition to TVU’s family of remote production solutions, enabling anyone to do professional, multi-camera live video production without expensive hardware, software or training. Covering live events such as sports, concerts, corporate presentations, house of worship services or any other multi-camera production can be done from virtually anywhere using a simple web-browser based interface. The cloud-based Producer Pro features a multi-channel IP video switcher, titling and graphics capabilities and the ability to simultaneously output directly to Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Periscope Producer, virtually any CDN platform and SDI through a TVU transceiver. Taking place April 9-12 in Las Vegas, TVU Networks will exhibit at NAB in Booth C1707.

“Covering live, multi-camera events has traditionally been an expensive and complex task. The cost of purchasing or renting live video production hardware or production services meant smaller events had limited coverage or no coverage at all,“ said Paul Shen, CEO, TVU Networks.  “TVU Producer Pro provides a flexible and economical alternative that requires no investment in expensive hardware or rental equipment services. It also provides the highest level of flexibility and simplicity allowing virtually any operator to produce the event from any location.”

Added Shen, “One of the biggest challenges with web-based production tools is Internet delay.  The unpredictability of Internet delay prevents actions like switching from happening at the intended frame. TVU Producer Pro’s patent-pending frame-accurate switch technology overcomes this limitation, enabling frame accurate previews in the web-based interface and the action to happen at exactly at the user’s intended frame.”

TVU Producer Pro supports multi-user operation permitting several producers to collaborate together concurrently on producing content. The simple WYSIWYG interface design makes it possible for non-professionals to easily manipulate graphics and text overlays during production.

TVU Producer Pro will work with all TVU transmitters – TVU Anywhere, TVU One, TVUPack and TVU MLink – IP video source or any standard IP video stream (HTTP, RTP, RTSP, UDP, etc.). A user can easily add up to six live streams at any time directly from the TVU Producer Pro interface. In addition, the platform is designed to allow any user of an iOS, Android or MacOS device to be added as a live video source within seconds by downloading the TVU Anywhere application.
