"NewTek TriCaster and 3PLAY have allowed us to create professional-level productions of our Division I hockey and basketball games, without the cost and space required for high-end broadcast equipment," said George Gardner, associate director of athletics for external affairs, Northeastern University. "Utilizing our arena's new LED center-hung video board, we are able to deliver a fully-digital production with complete integration of instant replays, thus enhancing the game-day experience for students, alumni, and fans everywhere."

For schools, NewTek has drastically reduced the price of TriCaster STUDIO by nearly 50 percent to $4,995 (previously $9,495). The price has also decreased significantly for commercial customers, to $8,995 (previously $9,995).

With TriCaster, anyone can simultaneously produce, live stream, broadcast, project and record HD and SD network-style productions. A single operator or small team can switch between multiple cameras, virtual inputs and live virtual sets, while inserting clips, titles and motion graphics with multi-channel effects. TriCaster is used by schools, broadcasters, sports organizations, houses of worship, government agencies and others to provide a new level of extended programming and content to their audiences.

*EDITOR'S NOTE: While in Portland, OR, TriCaster TCXD850 will be used to produce and live stream a local high school football game. On Friday, October 22, crosstown rivals Oregon City High School and Lakeridge High School will play at Lakeridge Stadium. NewTek will take this opportunity to demonstrate how TriCaster is used for school sporting events. Watch the Portland game live at: http://tv.newtek.com/.
