Noggin, Nickelodeon's Preschool Video Subscription Service, Expands to New Platforms and Adds Eight Premium Series to Content Slate

Noggin Launches on Android and Apple TV on Nov.19

Nickelodeon announced today the expansion of its Noggin video subscription service for preschoolers to new platforms with the launch on Android and Apple TV.   Already available on iOS, the app will add eight library preschool series to its content slate through 2016, beginning with popular Nick Jr. series Go, Diego, Go!bowing today.  Additional titles joining the Noggin lineup include the Sony Creative Products stop-motion series Mofyand all 365 classic Teletubbies episodes, among others.

Noggin is an ad-free, paid service ($5.99/month) that features full episodes and short-form videos for preschoolers.  To date, the app has 16 library series available including Blue’s CluesLittle Bear, and The Backyardigans, among others; music videos featuring kids’ favorite Nickelodeon preschool characters; and the beloved Moose and Zee characters hosting educational videos that can help kids learn letters, shapes, matching and other important skills to get ready for kindergarten.  New videos are added weekly.
 
Since launching in March, Noggin consistently ranks at the top of the charts in the Education and Kids categories on the Apple App Store.  Noggin serves as a complement to the highly successful Nick Jr. app, a TV Everywhere experience for preschoolers, which has over two million downloads since its launch in 2014.  The Nick Jr. app offers a live linear feed of the Nick Jr. television channel and on-demand episodes of Nickelodeon’s current preschool series, by signing in with a pay-TV provider account, plus interactive and educational activities.
