Popcornflix Free Streaming TV and Movie Service Adds Award-Winning Programs from Shaftesbury

Popcornflix, the free streaming TV and movie service from Screen Media Ventures, LLC, a leading global independent motion picture distribution company, today announced that several popular programs from Shaftesbury are now available to viewers at no charge on the ad-supported streaming service. Shaftesbury is known for its innovative, award-winning content, including popular titles like “ReGenesis,” an intense science drama, the family-friendly “Overruled!” and much more, available now online, via an app or on connected TV at no charge to viewers.
 
Shaftesbury provides high-quality content across multiple genres, including family-friendly movies like “Booky Makes Her Mark” and “Booky’s Crush,” highly acclaimed movies that follow the adventures of a young girl in Depression-era Canada. Popcornflix viewers can also enjoy the “Connor Undercover” series, a tween action-adventure program, and “Unlikely Heroes,” a digital comedy series about teens confronting cryptic puzzles, deadly traps and a medieval steam-punk civilization. 
 
The new Shaftesbury programming also includes “Totally Amp’d,” an innovative series that follows a group of musically talented teens seeking to become the next big super-group. ReGenesis, a groundbreaking series starring Ellen Page, features scientists who investigate infectious diseases, bioterrorism and ecological events, exploring the social, ethical and political implications of scientific discovery. Other content now available for free streaming on Popcornflix includes “Life with Derek,” “Mischief City,” “Booky and the Secret Santa” and “Vacation with Derek.”
