Miri Technologies to Make NAB Show Debut with X510 Dual-Cellular Bonding Router
Innovative, purpose-built hardware fuses numerous wired and wireless links to deliver resilient, high-performance internet connectivity anywhere
Reading, PA(17 Mar 2025)
Miri Technologies Inc. is ramping up for its NAB Show debut in Las Vegas, where the network technology startup will have its own booth for the first time. Exhibiting in booth W2801 in NAB’s “Premiere Park” area, the company will showcase how its cutting-edge X510 dual-cellular bonding network router enables resilient, high-performance internet connectivity anywhere for live streaming, newsgathering, remote production and more. Miri is also rolling out a new “Try Before You Buy” program to allow potential customers in the United States to test the X510 in their environments before purchase.
Fast, stable internet connectivity is essential in today’s professional media workflows, but many locations still suffer from service disruptions, speed limitations and inconsistent performance that can lead to lost viewers, missed moments and lost revenue. The Miri X510 router can combine multiple wired and wireless (4G, 5G, Starlink and Wi-Fi) data connections into one bonded link that provides resilience against internet outages while delivering exceptional performance even in remote locations with poor network coverage.
Unparalleled bonding capabilities
Powered by Speedify, a unique channel bonding technology from Philadelphia-based partner Connectify, the purpose-built Miri X510 hardware can bond up to seven direct connections including integrated, global-ready 5G and 4G modems; two Ethernet ports; Wi-Fi connectivity; and two USB ports for optional external modems. Automatic failover ensures seamless connectivity even if one internet service provider fails, while bonding 4G LTE and 5G helps overcome congestion in crowded venues. Bandwidth can be increased even further with the patent-pending Speedify Pair & Share function, which lets the router share data connections from up to 20 mobile devices on the same network via the Speedify app for an incredible total of 27 contributing links.
For 4G and 5G connectivity, customers can choose Miri’s new NetConnect+ multi-carrier data plans or use their own SIM cards from their preferred carriers. NetConnect+ plans automatically switch between major carriers as well as falling back to regional networks as necessary, while customers with special data contracts or requiring extra flexibility may want to use their own plans. This can also help avoid cellular congestion in applications such as newsgathering, where many news professionals may be using the same solutions and carriers in crowded press pools.
Ideal in a rack, on a desktop or in the field, the compact X510 features two slots for hot-swappable NP-F batteries (not included). Unlike bonding video encoders and contribution systems that are limited to delivering video and audio in particular codecs or transport protocols, the X510 supports any type of data – from media files and general documents to live streams created by a separate encoder in any format.
Speedify’s bonding technology encrypts traffic to keep users’ data secure, and users can choose their preferred Speed Server from dozens of locations worldwide to meet their performance and data sovereignty needs. The first three months of Speedify Router subscription (required for network bonding) are included free with Miri X510 purchases.
Try Before You Buy
Miri's new "Try Before You Buy" program allows users in the United States to test the X510 router in their own location and workflow for five days. Customers who choose to purchase the X510 at the end of the testing period will have their trial fee – less shipping – credited against the purchase of a new unit. Users can test the router using Miri's NetConnect+ data plans (with data usage billed at the end of the trial) or with their own SIM cards.
“Customer reaction to the Miri X510 router has been tremendous, and we can’t wait to showcase its unique advantages to NAB Show attendees in Las Vegas,” said Ryan Brenneman, CTO of Miri Technologies. “The X510’s ground-breaking feature set, purpose-built design and unmatched flexibility truly set it apart. We’re positive that users will appreciate its benefits once they experience them first-hand, and our new ‘Try Before You Buy’ program lets them do so in their own environment so they can purchase with confidence.”
The Miri X510 router is available in the United States and Australia, with additional global regions being added throughout 2025. For more information, please visit www.miri.tech. To schedule a meeting with Miri at NAB, please visit www.miri.tech/nab.
