Mobile2Air 3.0 enables recording, uploading and reviewing of videos fast and securely from an iPhone® or iPad®
Mobile2Air’s interface is now optimized for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus running iOS 8. The update is based on a new unified back-end, which is highly scalable from small to large-scale deployments, and allows uploading and reviewing from anywhere across Mobile2Air and Xchange. The new Mobile2Air Render Engine allows Proxy creation for viewing media under various network conditions, and integrates tightly with third-party transcoding software. Mobile2Air 3.0 integrates with Aspera’s FASP™ upload acceleration technology, the proven standard for the high-speed data transport.

Mobile2Air users shoot video directly with the iPhone or iPad’s built-in camera or can choose existing clips from the device’s built-in media library. Users can select compression rates for video depending on network conditions, from low bit rate SD formats up to full 1080p HD. Next, they can add metadata then transfer the video directly to previously designated servers. The application provides upload status details as well a review and approval workflow.
