Sesame Workshop Launches Sesame Street Go Subscription Service on Roku Streaming Platform

Today, Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, announced that its on demand video service, Sesame Street Go, is now available for millions of Roku customers as a streaming channel on the Roku platform, providing them with easy access to Sesame Street’s educational programming on their Roku players and Roku TV models.
For more than 45 years, families across America have looked towards Sesame Street's beloved Muppets to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder by learning their ABCs, building their inner strength and developing their moral compass – along with a lasting love of learning. Kids will now have even more access to the educational power of Sesame Street and their favorite segments like “Elmo’s World,” “Elmo the Musical,” “Super Grover 2.0,” “Bert and Ernie’s Great Adventures,” “Cookie’s Crumby Pictures” and “Abby's Flying Fairy School” through their Roku players and Roku TV models. .
Sesame Street Go is an ad-free subscription service that provides families with a child-friendly platform to instantly watch the latest full-length Sesame Street TV episodes and short-form minisodes, plus hundreds of full-length episodes from prior seasons and Sesame Classics Volumes 1 and 2. In addition, users can filter content through eight core learning areas including math, science, literacy and the arts.

The Sesame Street Go channel can be found in the Roku Channel Store within the Kids & Family category. New Sesame Street Go subscribers will be able to sign up directly through their Roku player or Roku TV model, or by searching and adding the channel on Roku.com. Sesame Street Go is free to download in the iTunes App Store and Google Play, and free to access on the website through any internet browser, and is optimized for Mac and PC computers, tablets and mobile devices. Premium content is available for subscription at $3.99/month or $29.99/year.
