Snipper and VidiGo launch cost-effective social TV solution
Amsterdam(08 Sep 2014)
VidiGo and Snipper are proud to announce the availability of the integration between Snipperwall and VidiGo’s Social Media Hub. The aim is to provide a cost effective and complete solution for social TV workflows. The joint solution is already in use at ArenA Amsterdam, home of football club Ajax.
The integration enables end-to-end interactive television formats, using data gathered and moderated within the Snipperwall environment. VidiGo’s Social Media Hub allows users to create graphic templates with the VidiGo Composer. The data from Snipperwall is loaded into the Social Media Hub via XML, allowing for a fully automated workflow.
“Snipper is a young and ambitious Amsterdam based company. They have a really nice low cost platform for social media data management. Working together with Snipper allows us to offer a very cost-effective and solid solution. We are happy to have completed our first integration at Ajax, the first of many happy customers.” - said Reinout Lempers, CEO of VidiGo.
With the installation of Snipperwall and the Social Media Hub, Ajax is aiming to engage their audience via social media, using their two large screens inside the stadium seating area. The combined solution allows Ajax to moderate incoming messages from social video app Snipper, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and to put them on air in real-time. The new installation seamlessly integrates with their existing live production workflow VidiGo Arena Solutions, a production suite designed for inside stadium broadcasting.
Okke Wiarda, Commercial Director Snipper commented: “We are really happy about our cooperation with VidiGo. Broadcasters can really benefit from this new integration. There are a lot of different social TV solutions available, but we really offer an easy to use and cost effective solution.”
Snipper and VidiGo will premiere the integration at the IBC 2014, VidiGo booth 7.H30.
