Sonic Foundry Event Services to Webcast Green Meetings Industry Council Meeting

Hybrid event support sustainability and meeting green with live and on-demand streaming via Mediasite 6

Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the trusted market leader for lecture capture, enterprise and event webcasting, today announced Mediasite Events will live stream the Green Meeting Industry Council’s 2012 Sustainable Meetings Conference taking place April 22-25 in Montreal, Quebec.

The GMIC is the leading meetings association seeking to transform the global meetings industry through sustainability. The conference is the premier event for planners and suppliers to explore the latest green meeting strategies and fittingly, begins on Earth Day 2012.

Also new this year, the presentations will be streaming on Mediasite 6, allowing online audiences to view the sessions live or on-demand via their desktop or mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones, iPods, BlackBerrys and Android devices.
