Sonic Foundry Partners with UBTech to Live Webcast Annual Educational Technology Conference

Mediasite to stream keynotes and all sessions live to a remote audience

UBTech Booth #301 — Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the trusted market leader for lecture capture, enterprise and event webcasting, today announced the company will once again use the Mediasite platform to webcast all sessions of UBTech 2012, formerly EduComm, held June 11 to 13 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UBTech is higher education’s fastest growing technology and leadership event with more than 1,000 campus visionaries in attendance from 400 colleges and universities nationwide. This is the ninth consecutive year Sonic Foundry has partnered with UBTech, and the second year all sessions will be streamed live to an online audience, including the keynotes and six concurrent program tracks, plus the recording, for on-demand delivery, of four Pre-Conference Summits.

UBTech will also be streamed via Mediasite 6 for the first time this year, allowing attendees to watch conference sessions on their mobile devices. The program, which will also be available on-demand for registered attendees, focuses on teaching and learning technologies, campus networks and infrastructure, facilities planning and design, financial services and marketing institutions.

Sean Brown, vice president of education for Sonic Foundry, will also present a session, “Reaping the Benefits of Lecture Capture: Large Scale ROI for Large Scale Deployments,” from 8 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 12.
