Sun TV Appoints Cloudio TV to Migrate Their Satellite Subscribers
Sun TV Europe Satellite branch appoints Cloudio TV for OTT platform for Migration of its satellite subscribers.
Surbiton, UK(28 Oct 2013)
Sun TV has appointed Cloudio TV to migrate the ‘European’ satellite subscribers to Cloudio TV, a multiplatform ‘OTT’ service. Cloudio TV will be taking control of the delivery of Sun TV’s current linear channels and develop VOD services on behalf of Sun TV as well. It will also offer back end services such as Subscriber and Bouquet Management, Payment/Billing, CDN delivery of all content, call centre and distribution of boxes across Europe.

Cloudio TV has demonstrated that they are at the forefront of technology and offers us an end-to-end solution that meets all our requirements, most importantly, the security of our content. They will be providing the Sun TV channels and VOD content exclusively to our subscribers across Europe and Middle East.
Cloudio TV’s CEO David Vargas-Racero: We are delighted and proud to be chosen as the exclusive supplier of all aspects of the service and are looking forward to seamlessly migrating the current satellite Sun TV customers to our service. We’ve already started after a successful test period and expect to finish by Q1 of next year.
