Singapore – May 21, 2024 -- At BroadcastAsia, TAG Video Systems, the leader in software-based IP end-to-end workflow monitoring, deep probing, and real-time visualization, will be demonstrating its Realtime Media Performance platform enriched with new technologies that maximize data utilization, enhance end-to-end HDR workflow capabilities, and now support straightforward, perception based QoE measures like Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM). The Company’s new Operator Console will be highlighted along with the recently launched, award-winning TAG Language Detection. The team will be conducting demonstrations on Magna’s booth #6E1-1 and answering questions about the benefits the platform brings to broadcasters, content owners and media companies.
TAG ‘s Operator Console, an intuitive user-friendly touch panel interface, is being shown at a major APAC industry event for the first time. This control interface is HTML and API-based and can be used with a touch screen or a handheld tablet device, and it also roams with the operator when necessary. Users can switch sources or mosaic layouts with the touch of a finger achieving the rapid response necessary for system control in a live media control room or network operation center. Operators save time by accessing pre-defined, customizable configuration and operational functionality with just a tap on the mosaic, dramatically removing complexity and simplifying day-to-day tasks.
Also new is the multi-award-wining TAG Language Detection, a revolutionary innovation that not only identifies the subtitles’ language but also calculates and analyzes quality based on language-specific dictionaries. This process introduces cutting-edge automation, eliminating the manual labor traditionally associated with language identification and minimizing the risk of human error. With TAG Language Detection, operators are free to focus on more strategic tasks.
