TVS Television Network Celebrates 60th Anniversary with Updated Corporate Name

The TVS Television Network, founded in 1960, has changed its corporate name to TVS Global Media to reflect its present dynamic. TVS was a leading independent broadcast television network for three decades before expanding to home video, radio, streaming video, streaming audio, publishing, consumer brands, and home shopping.
TVS TV Networks now contains all TV and streaming video distribution of TVS catalog and new video productions. TVS 3D Classix now contains all 3D and Colorization productions for TVS. TVS Front Row Video now comprises all TVS digital downloads and home video. TVS Channel now comprises all TVS video on demand ad supported video. TVS Magazines comprises the new and legacy periodicals that TVS presents as E Magazines and hard copy editions. TVS Radio Network now administers to TVS radio, podcast, and audio streaming efforts. TVS Consumer Direct encompasses TVS home shopping and consumer brands. TVS Sports Bureau heads TVS sports news efforts in print, video, and audio. TVS Licensing operates all TVS audio, video, and text licensing to third parties.
TVS owns a 25,000 title classic sports, movies, and television episodes. TVS produces more than 500 new sports and entertainment programs each year.
Since 1960, TVS has produced NASCAR, Indy Car, Off Road, and Grand Prix racing; NASL Soccer; WFL Football, IWA Wrestling, WTA Tennis, LPGA, Senior PGA, and PGA Golf; LPBT, Regional PBA, and Senior PBA Bowling; IFR Rodeo, AIAW Women’s Sports Championships, World University Games, College Basketball, NCAA Basketball Tournament, NCAA Major College Football Bowl Games, Championship Boxing, and AAU Championships.
TVS currently operates the 25 channel ad supported video streaming platform on WatchYour.TV.
TVS is owned and operated by Tom Ficara for the past 33 years. The network was founded by Eddie Einhorn in 1960, which operated it for 16 years prior to becoming the President of CBS Sports.
