The New PlayOn Offers the Ultimate Streaming Experience

PlayOn has just released its 4.0 version which leapfrogs all existing streaming software. It combines the best features of Cable TV and the convenience of streaming into one intuitive, easy-to-use and FREE desktop application. Anyone can visit www.playon.tv and download the new PlayOn for free. PlayOn allows you to select from recommended shows, clips and movies, search or navigate through a channel listing to find your favorite show. It allows you to organize your local content in the app as well as stream local content to your TV. You can also watch local and streaming content on your PC.
The new PlayOn also offers an upgrade to PlayOn Plus which unlocks the DVR features of recording streaming videos, automatic recording of new shows upon release (called subscriptions), and the ability to record all of the shows in a given series. It also unlocks the ability to stream or cast to Roku, Chromecast, Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, or 20 other set-top devices and Internet-connected TVs. PlayOn Plus also allows customers to use a mobile device, gives them the freedom to move recordings to any device, and to watch recordings ad-free with AdSkip. Upgrading to PlayOn Plus is a simple in-app purchase of $4.99/month, $39.99/year or $59.99 lifetime fee. Existing PlayOn+PlayLater customers will be grandfathered into PlayOn Plus and will automatically receive the additional features of Plus.
