Total Webcasting is helping to “revolutionize” the International Association for Providers of AIDS Care
Total Webcasting recently completed its second webcast for the International Association for Providers of AIDS Care, helping the organization effectively reach its many worldwide constituents.
New Paltz, NY(26 Jun 2013)
Total Webcasting provided its full-service webcasting solution for the International Association for Providers of AIDS Care’s (IAPAC) 8th International Conference on HIV Treatment and Prevention Adherence in Miami, FL. The conference was streamed live by Total Webcasting to hundreds of registrants from 23 countries on 6 continents. Dr. Benjamin Young, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at IAPAC, stated that “Total Webcasting was an integral part in increasing the reach of our International Conference on HIV Treatment and Prevention Adherence.”
According to IAPAC President, Dr. José M. Zuniga, IAPAC holds conferences in order to “advance” their mission, which includes “coordinating training and support activities for IAPAC members—busy clinicians—so that they can provide the best HIV prevention, care, and treatment services to their patients.” Dr. Zuniga explained that their conferences “have been historically well attended”, but, through webcasting, they are able to attract an even wider audience. He continued to detail that IAPAC is made up of more than 20,000 members in over 100 countries and many of the clinicians are not able to travel to the conferences because of budget constraints. Thanks to webcasting technology, their members across the world can still access the valuable content being presented at the IAPAC conferences.
“[…] IAPAC has a mandate to break down barriers that impede access to training and support activities, which we are doing by making such activities available to non-IAPAC-members, too. In 2013, we are continuing to break down barriers by integrating webcasting into the means by which we expand access to conference-related training and support activities. Our recent partnership with Total Webcasting is revolutionizing the way in which we are doing business and, by extension, it is making available to busy clinicians near (e.g., United States) and far (e.g., China) access to information that was largely off limits.”
—Dr. José M. Zuniga, President of IAPAC
Total Webcasting utilized its TW Medicart, a portable production and encoding system, and its Software as a Service content management system, Total Asset Manager (TAM)—both built from the ground up by Total Webcasting—to webcast the event. The TW Mediacart is designed to be operated by just one technician, ensuring that their full-service webcasting solution remains cost-effective for their clients across the United States.
Total Webcasting has become known for its combination of leading technical expertise, and amiable and accommodating customer service, both of which were praised by Dr. Zuniga.
“Our experience with Total Webcasting during our two recent conferences in 2013 has been outstanding. Technically proficient, professional, and courteous, Total Webcasting delivers what it promises – and more. We are so happy with this partnership that we are in discussions around additional 2013 as well as future projects in 2014 and beyond.”
—Dr. José M. Zuniga, President of IAPAC
