VBrick Software Sales Double in First Half of 2016

Rev Adopted by Hundreds of Enterprises with more than a Million Paid Subscribers Worldwide

Herndon, VA(03 Aug 2016)

VBrick today reported a 118% increase in software sales for the first half of 2016 compared to 2015, including recurring cloud subscription growth of 292%. VBrick also reported a gross margin in excess of 70% for the period, validating the expanding leverage of its cloud infrastructure.

The results reflect robust adoption of its cloud enterprise video platform, which has now been adopted by enterprise users in a broad range of industries, from financial services to technology, manufacturing, education and government.

“Three years ago, VBrick invested in building an enterprise video platform with a cloud-native architecture that would truly enable organizations to leverage the power of video on a nearly unlimited scale,” said Shelly Heiden, CEO of VBrick. “Our first half 2016 growth proves that progressive companies understand video’s value to impact the bottom line once every worker can share live and recorded video unhindered by technology or cost,” Heiden said.

Growth in sales of VBrick enterprise video management and distribution software comes from its direct sales team and network of value-added partners, including those from its collaboration with Cisco. Selected as Cisco’s streaming and recording solution last year, the companies continue to integrate their product lines, with Rev video capabilities now available to users across a wide range of Cisco collaboration products.

Rev enables organizations to unleash the power of video to educate, inform and inspire employees anywhere and on any device. The platform’s ease of use increases engagement and adoption by delivering the same consumer-grade experience employees expect from their use of video and social media sites. Customers can stream high quality live and on-demand video across their own networks using Rev’s embedded eCDN capabilities, which ensure that video uses the least possible bandwidth.

As the industry’s first, cloud-native platform for enterprise video, VBrick Rev allows organizations to rapidly deploy their own video management system (in days, versus months) without incurring the infrastructure costs, staffing requirements and system downtime required to deploy and maintain traditional server-based, on premise products.
