MGW Sprint portable appliance delivers 1080p60 video over IP point to point and point to multipoint with the same performance of uncompressed hard-wire cable.

Sunnyvale, CA(27 Mar 2014)

VITEC, a worldwide leader in advanced video streaming solutions, today announced they will be doing a live demonstration of their revolutionary TurboVideo2 technology for zero delay delivery of HD H.264 IP video at NAB (Booth SL6305).

MGW Sprint Encoder and MGW Sprint Decoder feature all-hardware processing with HDMI and HD-SDI inputs and outputs that, together, feature the fastest HD H.264 broadcast-quality codec in the industry. MGW Sprint operates in both 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 modes and is the ideal IPTV solution for streaming sports events, video from medical devices, military tactical content, and simulator imagery.

“As an engineering-oriented company, VITEC strives to master all areas that come into play in IP streaming. With the in-house development of TurboVideo2™ technology we’ve demonstrated our ability to deliver the best streaming performance available and maintain our leadership in the IPTV market,” said Philippe WETZEL, Founder and CEO of VITEC.
