Leading Video Conferencing Platform Helps Extend Reach for Non-Profit Fundraising

Watchitoo (www.watchitoo.com), a technology company that provides a professional HD-quality online video collaboration and streaming platform, announced today that it has partnered with Raise Cache to live stream their benefit fashion show to support hackNY on November 17th, 2011 at the State Armory in New York City.

Watchitoo will provide live video footage of the Streaming Runway Fashion show along with exclusive behind-the-scenes videos and in-person interviews with executives and industry leaders. People will also have the ability to watch the fashion show online and to ask questions in real-time to event producers through Watchitoo's chat functionality.
With the goal of raising $100,000 for hackNY, Raise Cache is a celebration of New York Technology to foster the next generation of New York innovators. The event will bring together more than 1,000 members of New York tech, fashion, media, and arts under one roof, representing 75 companies to create a once in a lifetime event that highlights the power of our community and the passion of New York.
hackNY creates a safe environment for fostering intellectual curiosity and to challenge students to break down the traditional barriers of computer science. Co-organized by faculty from NYU and Columbia, and with a board of advisors which includes educators, technologists, and entrepreneurs, hackNY organizes the summer Fellows program and student 'hackathons' during the school year in order to create and empower a community of student-technologists.
