Worldnow's National Advertising Network Ranked #45 in ComScore Media Metrix List of Largest Digital Properties

First Time That Worldnow Breaks Into the Top-50 List; Ahead of iHeartMedia, Craigslist, and Disney Online

New York, NY(02 Mar 2015)

Worldnow, the leading provider of digital content management and monetization platforms, today announced that its national advertising network of desktop and mobile properties ranked in the Top-50 Largest Digital Properties, according to data recently released by comScore Media Metrix and Media Metrix Multi-Platform services. This marks the first time that Worldnow has been ranked in the Top-50 list, ahead of such leading web properties as iHeartMedia; Craigslist, and Disney Online.

With coverage of 81% of U.S. households, Worldnow’s advertising network serves more than 300 media sites, comprising one of the industry’s largest ad networks. The company is poised to expand further in 2015, with its National Sales team that delivers advertiser relations and scaled execution in premium and programmatic ad sales for desktop, mobile, video and email ad inventory. Worldnow’s complete advertising ecosystem includes fully trained/staffed sales, ad operations and finance teams and an array of integrations with leading ad networks and exchanges to drive CTR/CPM.

"Monetization growth is the number one priority for the National team in 2015.  Large emphasis will be placed on developing our mobile business, as that is the area where we see the most revenue potential.  Additionally, we are developing our Private Marketplace through the programmatic channel in order to raise our CPMs to create as much revenue as possible for our affiliates,” said Emily Campbell, director, national sales and ad operations, Worldnow. “Business development will also be one of our top priorities with the goal of acquiring new premium direct advertisers, programmatic direct partners and new media partners whose inventory we can monetize. It is important that the National team remain at the front end of all new revenue streams in order to bring the best revenue opportunities to our affiliates."

Worldnow’s digital properties have seen steady growth over the past two years. According to comScore, WorldNow’s media sites were ranked the second-fastest growing media property on desktops from March 2013 to March 2014, after Buzzfeed. Since January of this year, WorldNow’s media sites have increased their inbound traffic from Facebook by 80% and Twitter by 32%. Worldnow’s portfolio media sites are affiliated with CBS, NBC and ABC as well as Media General, Meredith Corporation, and Raycom Media.

“We continue to grow, based on a successful strategy of offering leading digital publishing platforms that allow customers to leverage our extensive and growing ad network. In addition, we support a unified workflow across the content supply chain for efficient, cost-effective distribution and monetization of dynamic content,” said Craig Smith, president and chief operating officer of Worldnow.
