Director Mini
Magewell’s Director Mini is an all-in-one portable production and streaming system that combines multi-input switching, graphics, streaming, recording and monitoring in one compact device. Users can switch between two HDMI inputs and two USB AV inputs as well as three simultaneous live IP sources including SRT streams, RTMP streams, NDI® HX2 and NDI®HX3 sources, and mobile sources. File-based media assets including video, audio and images can also be combined freely with live sources. Productions can be streamed using the RTMP protocol to popular platforms such as YouTube™ Live, Facebook™ Live or custom destinations. Other IP output options include SRT streaming and NDI® HX3 output. Director Mini’s touchscreen interface is complemented by the Director Utility smartphone and tablet apps.
Ultra Encode
Magewell’s Ultra Encode family of universal live media encoders offer systems integrators, video professionals, and OEM partners a flexible and affordable encoding solution for applications ranging from live streaming and remote contribution to IP-based production workflows. Ultra Encode supports multiple encoding formats – including H.264 (AVC), H.265 (HEVC), and NDI®|HX – and a wide array of streaming protocols including SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP, RTP, and HLS. Configurable presets enable easy streaming to popular third-party services or custom targets. The flagship Ultra Encode AIO, builds on the flexibility of standard Ultra Encode models with expanded features including HDMI and SDI input connectivity in a single unit; 4K (30fps) encoding and streaming from the HDMI input; simultaneous multi-protocol streaming; higher streaming bitrates; file recording; and much more.
USB Fusion
Magewell’s USB Fusion multi-input video capture and mixing device and its accompanying app let users easily combine camera, wired screenshare, and media file sources into attractive live presentations for online lectures, webinars, live streaming, event production, video conferencing, and other applications. Featuring two HDMI inputs and one USB webcam input, USB Fusion lets users switch between sources or combine two inputs (picture-in-picture or side-by-side) into one output and capture the result into popular Windows, Mac, or Linux software via its USB 3.0 interface. It also offers an HDMI output for connection to a projector, display, or downstream production equipment, making it equally adept as a standalone, tablet-controlled presentation device.
Ultra Stream
Making live streaming production remarkably simple even for non-professionals, Magewell’s Ultra Stream standalone streaming encoders enable users to record or stream high-quality video with one click using on-device buttons, an intuitive smartphone app or a browser-based web interface. Users can stream to popular services including YouTube Live, Facebook Live or Twitch or to a custom-specified RTMP server, and record video as MP4 files to internal storage, a USB drive, or the associated smartphone. The compact encoders are available with an HDMI or SDI input interface.
Pro Convert
Magewell’s Pro Convert standalone hardware converters let users reliably bring traditional video signals into and out of live, IP-based production infrastructures using NewTek’s popular NDI® technology. Pro Convert NDI® encoders – voted by Streaming Media readers as 2020’s best hardware input devices for live production – transform HDMI or SDI input signals into full-bandwidth NDI® streams with extremely low latency and are truly plug-and-play, enabling existing source equipment to be easily connected into next-generation IP-based workflows. Pro Convert NDI® decoders convert live NDI® streams – as well as H.264 or H.265 streams in protocols including SRT, RTMP, RTSP and more – into high-quality SDI or HDMI outputs for display on baseband devices such as monitors and projectors.
Pro Capture
Cost-effectively delivering outstanding video capture quality, performance and reliability, Magewell’s Pro Capture PCIe cards are available in single, dual and quad-channel models with a flexible choice of input interfaces – including HDMI, SDI, DVI, VGA and analog video plus audio – and resolutions up to 4K cinema and Ultra HD. FPGA-based video processing leaves the host system CPU available for third-party software. For third-party developers, the Pro Capture SDK enables partners to create custom solutions leveraging the full feature set of Magewell cards.
USB Capture Plus
Magewell’s external, plug-and-play USB Capture Plus devices are the easiest and most reliable way to bring SDI, HDMI or DVI sources into popular Windows, Mac, Linux or Chrome OS software. Voted by Streaming Media readers as 2017’s best capture hardware, the driver-free devices feature automatic input detection for exceptional simplicity and enable all types of computers including laptops to capture professional HD or 4K video with audio through a standard USB 3.0 interface.
Eco Capture
Designed for use in small and embedded systems where full-sized PCIe slots are unavailable, the Eco Capture family of high-performance video capture hardware offers OEMs and systems integrators an ultra-compact capture solution with low power consumption for space-limited applications. The five Eco Capture models – including HDMI and SDI configurations – each measure just 22x80mm and feature a high-speed PCIe 2.0 bus interface with an M.2 connector, enabling multi-channel HD or single-channel 4K capture with embedded audio.
